About The Role:

Birches Health is seeking a Clinical Learning & Development Lead to build and scale the training infrastructure that equips our clinical team to deliver exceptional, specialized care in gambling disorder and behavioral addictions.

This role will own the design, development, and delivery of high-impact, multi-modal learning experiences that improve clinical quality, consistency, and provider confidence. You will play a critical role in translating clinical standards, audit insights, and fidelity expectations into engaging, actionable training programs.

You will also lead innovation in how training is built and delivered—leveraging AI tools to increase the speed, quality, and scalability of content creation for adult learners.

This role is full-time ($80,000–$100,000), remote or based in our NYC office, and reports directly to the VP of Clinical.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and deliver scalable onboarding and ongoing training programs that equip clinicians to provide high-quality care in gambling disorder and behavioral addictions
• Build and maintain high-impact, multi-modal learning experiences (async modules, live trainings, toolkits) that improve clinician performance and consistency
• Leverage AI to accelerate the creation, iteration, and quality of training content for adult learners
• Own the Learning Management System (LMS) and certification workflows, including oversight of Birches’ accredited IPGGC training program (ICGC/IGRS pathways)
• Translate clinical documentation standards, audit findings, and fidelity reviews into targeted training and performance improvement initiatives
• Partner with Clinical and Quality Improvement teams to continuously refine training based on performance data, care gaps, and outcomes

Who You Are:

• Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Addiction Counselor)
• 5+ years of experience in behavioral health with a focus on training, program development, or clinical quality
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards, audits, and fidelity frameworks
• Skilled instructional designer with experience creating engaging learning experiences for adult learners, including leveraging AI to improve the speed and quality of content development
• Proficient with modern content creation, design, and collaboration tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Loom, Google Workspace)
• Experience working within or alongside Quality Improvement and cross-functional teams
