About The Role:

Birches Health is hiring an Operations Associate to work closely with our Head of Operations. This is a dynamic, high-impact role where you’ll get hands-on experience in healthcare operations, helping to optimize processes, manage projects, and drive efficiency as we grow. This role will work closely with providers, operations, finance, and marketing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. • Operational Support: Assist in the day-to-day execution of business operations, ensuring smooth workflows and problem-solving operational bottlenecks.
• Project Management: Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, tracking milestones and ensuring timely execution.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze operational data to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Special Projects: Take ownership of mission-critical strategic projects.

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years of experience in operations, consulting, or a related field. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable steps.
• Analytical mindset with experience in Excel/Google Sheets (required); familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for working cross-functionally.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to transition from a direction-based role into an autonomous, self-driven position.
• Passion for healthcare and improving access to quality care.

All roles are in office, 5+ days a week, in New York City.
